A 49 ª  edição das esperanças Omloop Het Nieuwsblad ( Omloop Het Nieuwsblad Beloften em holandês ) foi realizada em5 de julho de 2014. A corrida faz parte do calendário do UCI Europe Tour 2014 na categoria 1.2, e é a sexta rodada da Top Competition . A corrida é vencida por Dimitri Claeys ( VL Technics-Abutriek ), já vencedor do ano passado , que cobre os 169 km em 4  h  8  min  33  s . Ele foi seguido dois segundos depois por Dylan Teuns ( BMC Development ) e quatorze segundos depois por Jef Van Meirhaeghe ( Lotto-Belisol U23 ). Kenneth Van Rooy ( Lotto-Belisol U23 ) assumiu a liderança da Topcompetition , substituindo Tim Vanspeybroeck ( 3M ). Dos 190 pilotos que largaram, apenas 69 cruzaram a linha de chegada.

Apresentação

O Circuito Het Nieuwsblad Hopes 2014, organizado em 5 de julho de 2014, tem por partida e chegada o troço de Grotenberge do município de Zottegem na Bélgica . Além de ser um evento da categoria 1.2 do UCI Europe Tour 2014 , é também a sexta rodada do Top Competition . Ele sucede a Flèche ardennaise e antecede o contra-relógio da equipe em Borlo .

O evento é organizado pela Flanders Classics e pelo Wielerclub Egmont Zottegem .

Rota

A rota de 169 quilômetros começa em Zottegem , que é a parte mais oriental e setentrional do circuito. A corrida começa com um loop de 91 quilômetros e continua com três voltas de 26 quilômetros em um circuito local. A apresentação das equipas, e, por conseguinte, a assinatura da folha de partida é fornecida entre 11  h  40 e 12  h  45 , para um ponto de partida fictício a 13  pm e um verdadeiro início em 13  h  3 . A assistência técnica neutra é fornecida por meio de três carros Shimano .

Times
