Fascismo clerical
O fascismo clerical (fascismo Cléro, clerical-fascismo) é um termo que apareceu pela primeira vez na década de 1920 para descrever a relação entre o fascismo italiano e a Igreja .
Designa uma ideologia que combina a doutrina econômica e política do fascismo com a teologia ou tradições religiosas. Várias organizações e movimentos foram qualificados de “clericais-fascistas”, nomeadamente associações religiosas que apoiam o fascismo, mas também regimes fascistas que atribuem um papel importante ao clero ( Getúlio Vargas , António de Oliveira Salazar ...).
Descrição
No início dos anos 1980, o termo " integralismo " às vezes era usado como sinônimo de "fascismo clerical" por acadêmicos como Hugh Trevor-Roper , como parte da construção de uma tipologia do fascismo, distinguindo entre fascismo clerical e tipos seculares de fascismo como nazismo ou húngaro .
