Cymothoe é uma espécie de lepidóptero (borboletas) da família Nymphalidae , a subfamília de Limenitidinae e tribo Limenitidini .

Descrição

As espécies deste gênero exibem um dimorfismo sexual muito acentuado.

Divisão

Este gênero é encontrado na África central .

Sistemático

O gênero Cymothoe foi descrito pelo entomologista alemão Jakob Hübner em 1819. A espécie típica é Cymothoe althea (Cramer, 1776).
